In the abidarma, they lay out 17 moments of consciousness that are a full perception. Every one of those steps has feeling with it, but in the middle where that happens is where we start having emotion, conditioning and reactivity. There's a point in the 17 steps where all that mixes in. This is where we're getting our conditioning. And so when i've heard feeling in the buddhist sense of it, you know, it's often seemed to me that that's what buddhism was describing.
