Are You Being Your Best Self for Yourself or for the Rest of Society?

Some people get weirdly focused on like these specific twelve virtues or a different list of eight virtues or something and they're like these are the virtues which always turns me off. I don't think there is a specific list of virtues that should be the virtues right. There's not really something built into the structure for what if I have the wrong utility function how do I revise it and improve it right because then any change is gonna be well  any changes in general likely to lower the utility of your current function so then why would your current function ever lead you to prefer something better real quick? It's pronounced period though period improvements rather than perito or pareto as we usually call
