The Story of Amy's Kidnapping

A grand jury was called to determine if there was enough evidence to charge Amy's alleged kidnappers, Steve Rose Jake. On July 20th, the grand jury declined to indict these supposed kidnappers because they didn't have enough evidence. The same day, a piece of evidence, a scrap of paper from the Carmel Cottage with a grocery list on it, as supposed to identify Amy's handwriting, disappeared after a juror named Mrs. Holmes,. one of two women on the 17-person grand jury took it.
