The Wealth of Nations

The wealth of nations was universally read by British intellectuals, more or less in the 19th century. It's not a coincidence that even a title is very similar to Adam Smith's. Sudanese also plays an important part in another thing which arguably is not as important, but also a cornerstone of democratic capitalism. Sweden played a key role in opening up capitalism for everybody - including women.
