Halo effect is when you judge people's overall characteristics based on one characteristic, like that'll make you make bad decisions. Illusion of control: We think we have more ability to control things than we actually do. negativity bias and optimism biases; short term thinking versus long term thinking. What kind of person are you? You have to know what kind of person you are. And don't let your tendencies get the best of you.
