Is Elixir a Good Interface?
Sonic Pi was originally having its own implementation of the beam. Joe wrote some cool scripts to take a standard beam, chop out all the bits that we weren't using. And so looking around, it seemed that Elixir had the best tools with the mixed stuff. So I've embedded inside of Sonic Pi a full Elixir environment. It's not going to be in the next release. But it's certainly where the next phase of development is going to go.
