Noki was worried or thinking about, they were preoccupied with the humanity in the technology. They would do research like what are the 10 things everybody leaves their house with that they will never leave behind. It wasn't so much about how do we profit or how do we dig the next oil gusher? At least that's the way I interpreted it. The futurist should have an Hippocratic oath to create a future that does no harm, do no harm.
