Romantic partners are more likely to practise kink and b d s m sexual activities than friends with benefits. The sex tends to be safer in ifriends with benefits arrangement, because people understand it's non monogamist. But they're not necessarily communicating as much about their desires and wants or what it is that brings them pleasure.
