The Functions of Mythology
When science has moved away from the cosmology of the mythologies, the mythology is dead and our traditional mythologies are almost of a subtly dead. But this doesn't mean that the imagery of the biblical tradition or any other archaic tradition is refuted. As refuted is the cosmological interpretation of it. Now let us in order to do this thing systematically review what, like we said,. the leading functions of mythology. This is an elementary point. It's the ABCs of the whole subject. What are the functions that mythology has served? How many of these can be served today? And those that are not being served by mythological heritage are being served by some other aspects of our heritage
