If we nap for too long, that can make it hard to get high-quality sleep the subsequent night. Napping has a beneficial effect on physical performance and attention with better results observed for naps greater than or equal to 35 minutes in duration. But like caffeine, this is what I would call kind of a short-term band-aid solution.
