Is There a Difference Between Right and Left Hemisphere?
The left hemisphere is less reliable, more prone to bias and less willing to change than the right. Both hemispheres contribute to absolutely everything. The task that requires this division is that of focusing on something in order to manipulate it. But at the same time you're not just narrowly focused precisely on this detail but looking out for predators, looking out for your mates, for your kin, and being aware of your surroundings. And this is so hard to do without the two neuronal masses, one able to attend in one way and the other simultaneously to attend in another way.
