The Nature of Truth
When you start printing money basically, it becomes more difficult to understand whether a price change was a result of supply and demand changing or if this is the consequence of the printing of money. I can't tell in a world where money is being monopolized and debased whether this price signal is telling me there's a real demand in the marketplace. It creates distortions in this information system. Now there's a saying on Wall Street that price is truth. That's what it's taking everyone's wishes and superimposing them onto the available supply of copper in the world and it gives you one number. There's a lot of data and information in that one number.
