In the film people are given a pill and wake up to this monstrous, terrible reality. I think that it was a very stark reminder of that when i treated a chap who had lost his daughter. She had died in a row traffic accident with her boy friend. And he couldn't accept that. He had constructed a dilusional system that kind of insulated him from that desperate reality. The medication change worked. It was an off licensed medication that we got from the us. And rather tragically, as he recove, he started to regain insight into the fact he'd lost his daughter and all the tragic consequences of that. That's a kind of fascinating part of your job too, is
