The Art of Beauty

Some modern art, and who knows, depends on why we make it, but in Special Contemporary Art, has this kind of rejection. It's a built-onian. I mean, it has a demonic or, I say, tannic kind of ultimate rejection. That's what you can find. And that's, I think, where you want to say, well, freedom is not and creativity and goodness is not ultimately about rejection. But maybe one way to kind of orient the conversation in this remaining third is to think about it in terms of beauty. So I am convinced, and this is a medieval slash ancient sensibility that art is for beauty.
