The Problem With Norepinephrine in PAH?
One of the things that what we want to try to try to achieve is sort of reversing the abnormal PVR-SVR ratio that can occur in these patients. The old standby had been norepinephrine, but some experts are stressing utilization of vasopressin. There's some lab data to suggest perhaps even, perhaps may even lower the pulmonary vascular resistance through activation of the V1 and V2 receptor and the pulmonary arterial. So it's interesting.
