The Shape of Space

The shape of space refers to basically how the universe is connected on a really, really big scale. It's asking like, how is all space put together? Think in two dimensions for a moment - it's easier im you have a bunch of rings and you have to connect them together into a two d surface. And mathematically speaking, two shapes fundamentally the same, if you can smoothly morf one into another.
