Then they could chase em down with these really fast ships and then process them on board. This was obviously devastating. A suite of technologies. They never face preditors like this, on this scale or with this lethality. The twentieth century whaling also impacted more species of whales as compared to the nineteenth century. I mean, you know, lot of whales are really hard to catch without industrial technology. There they can stay under water for a long period of time. And this was the major
