Know Your Enemy

CHAPTER

The Trial of Al-Zer Hiss

Chambers tried to convince people who were his allies in the movement, especially those that he actually liked. And there's an encounter between him and his at the end of this effort to get him to leave with him which becomes very important in the trial because Chambers is leaving. He has denied this publicly and derisively. What he should not regret are those few tears for as long as men are human and remember our story, they will plead for his humanity.
