I think it's not impossible that people will regain a measure of, well, that the internet will become semi-deliberately much more siloed over time. In fact, I would argue that it's probably already happening. Most serious conversations now happen in gate-kept communities. So again, I'm not without hope that people and cultures will adapt beyond that sort of pathological state of openness. And I sincerely hope that we do because if not, we face the problem that you described.
