Are the Europeans and Asia Dealing With Inflation?
Inflation has been up everywhere because commodity prices are a little bit higher. Supply chain issues have been worse in the s, largely due to that west coast port congestion. In europe workers went on furlough and got 60-90% of their pay without actually working. So they were able to bring demand back more quickly and do it without a big wage spike. And you're not seeing the same case of rate hikes from the bank of japan or the european central bank which might lend more support to their economies.
