The James Webb telescope is picking up images of pre-formed galaxies. This messes up the whole potentially like our idea of what the age of the universe is. I don't think we're looking for a civilization like our own. We've got these vast expanse of time and, atomically, modern humans have been around for more than 300,000 years. Why do we take so long?
