How to Sleep Like a Log
You can say that you're going to hit the sack, which is like a sleeping bag or something. If someone says they're going to bed, you could say sleep tight or good night, sleep tight. Good night isn't a greeting in English so we only use it at nighttime and when people are about to go to bed. You might wake up on the wrong side of the bed if you don't sleep tight. It's kind of just a way of saying 'I'm not bad thinking about bed bugs biting me' So horrifying. We do use that one all the time too.
