I don't believe there are actually such things, a lot of new ideas in politics. And so nothing you describe, know what JD Vance's view is, this industrial policy stuff is remotely new. I mean, it's been part of the national conversation for ... go back to Alexander Hamilton. The idea that somehow these guys have discovered some brand new thinking rather than basically taking advantage of the novelty of being a conservative who capitulates to left wing thinking and now calls it right wing isn't true.
