Satan has this image of Christ being a bait offered. Closed in flesh so that Satan would think, this is it, I can kill God. And he's lured by that to... in Gregory of Nissa's terms by the flesh and blood that Christ took on. But inside that veil of nature was divinity. So, and thus, life being introduced into the house of death. That which is diametrically opposed to light and life might vanish.
