How to Balance History and Style in a Film

We were very, we tried to be as accurate as we could to what happened in the way that our action unfolded. We did have sequences where it was kind of montage of, you know, him on an up or a downward spiral for his fighting career and we would do that pretty stylistically. But when it came down to like the details of the fights, especially the Holyfield fight, that was something we really paid attention to. And so not only the words that were said were the same as exactly how Mike did it, but then we tried to create it as close to that, as possible.
