A few years ago, the original algorithm was really just outperforming your competitor with no negatives. That was so easy to game that Amazon had to step in and say, okay, how do we prevent people from just giving away a bunch of products and flying up the ranks? So they started to put into effect what they would consider normal behavior. And anything outside a standard deviation of normal behavior becomes a negative. It can in fact hurt you instead of even helping you. The latest thing I think is that for 2022 has been that outside traffic is weighted heavier than Amazon traffic. But there's no negative to it.
