Event gid is very tightly integrated into asue itself. It's quite total integreted. The nice side of event grete is that it also allows a better event passing around, i would say. Even if you go and read, for example, stoodocumentation, they do recommend to switch to evan greed once the number of events is becoming high. That's partially to the fact that ivan gred is really scalable and designed to handlema amount of noifications or messages with a large number of subscribers.
