Is There a Benefit to Periodizing Volume?
Although empirical evidence is lacking, there may be a benefit to periodizing volume to increase systematically over a training cycle. I mean, if i'm honest, i don't recall there being any evidence to support that. We in the hict community say that's not sustainable, because you just keep adding sets and keep adding sets, and you would never have enough recovery. Whereas in the hic com, we would probably never follow that guidance anyway.
