Student Mobility From China

China is now of course the world's largest center of international students. In 2017 more than 600 000 students went abroad to study in China. There are probably about 1.5 million Chinese students studying in western higher education institutions overseas. The initial phase of post-reformed Chinese student mobility exemplified this public and political logic of using student mobility right as an intervention in reproducing national kidney capital.
