The Rise and Fall of the Rich and the Poor
When politicians say things like the rich get richer and the poor get poorer, that's an obvious piece of evidence that nobody understands gains from trade. Minimum wage is another thing that I think fits pretty nicely into this box. If you make workers more expensive, you give employers incentive to hire less of them as happens with every single product on the market when prices go up. And that's something that I would hope that every voter would understand.
