How to Create a Quality Looking Video With Entry Level Hardware

This was born of a concept from over a year ago. I want to see if i could create a qualitity looking video with entry level hardware. The camera would be mounted to a previously purchased ozmo gimbol, allowing for impressive stabilization when combined with apples optical image stabilization. And as an unexpected bonus, i'm bound to a power chair.
