For years, we've been looking at Wagner's growing profile in Africa. When Wagner comes into a country, it's typically responsible for a variety of human rights abuses and war crimes. It smuggles raw goods out of the country, exploiting some of the poorest nations in the world. We want to counter Russia's growing footprint on the continent but also because we see the massive negative impacts that Wagner has.
