The Importance of Direct Patronage in Early Stage Science

NFTs are an interesting primitive, right? For rewarding these things that are really social status oriented rather than having some sort of direct revenue value capture model. So it's one way at least to cutting out the middle man. And in some ways, there is a question of, can we sort of mathematically create this reward system where people who are sort of patronizing science early and have that taste to spot sort of contrarian science maybe as Matthew was talking about.
