The Importance of Partiality

Many people don't care about the ability to do many things they care about being able to do certain specific thing. People feel like when you're offering me this kind of future where we give up on human love and human laughter etc, i'm going to be in this state where i'm not going to be motivated to do any of it. If you take enough of those away it doesn't matter how much you compensate with money or the generic power to do manyThings that just sounds to me like another way of saying there's some things you could value a lot such that the loss of them would be catastrophic.
