Reporting in China

The Chinese Cyberspace Administration is the ministry that oversees internet content. In China, you can report someone for criticizing the Communist Party or denigrating Chinese culture. The goal wasn't to ban this one story, or even to single out this one author. It was to block in all of China the platform that allowed this content to exist.
