Is the Internet Shutting Down a Global Issue?
The first country to shut down the internet completely an wide was egypt in january 20 11. Access now has a project that you lead where you document internet shut downs as they happen, and you publish that data every year so that people can see what's happening around the globe. Internete shutdowns became a global issue in the last decade, and that is during the arab spring. The number has increased until 20 20, when there was a drop.
