Is the Dollar Getting Stronger?
At the beginning of this year, the trade weighted dollar was at around a hundred and eight in these arbitrary units. So there was a huge strengthening. It has reversed since then but you know, it was incredibly strong. A lot of that was due to monetary policy differences, but also how well the us. Was coming out of this post pandemic crisis period. Why is the dollar so important? I think one of the reasons is that it's the global reserve currency.
