Are AVs Ready for Commercialization?

We shouldn't write off AVs because it is happening. UIC, his driverless, these little vehicles have been operating in airports and industrial complexes for months and years now. And to me, that's more of a what does what happens to that labor question than is the tech ready for commercialization. That tech is readybecause if I am harvesting acres and acres of corn, do I need that one person or two people driving the machine that harvests the corn?
