The Importance of Suspicion in the Christian Community
The Christian community has had so many scandals about, apparently, godly people. I'm convinced that an element of the story has to be something about spiritual attack or the fact that the evil one knows that he can undermine the work of the kingdom by targeting these influential powerful people. It's devastating to a lot of people when they discover that people that they've lionized as heroes have revealed to be feet of clay.
