Jesus entered our world just as Moses, so I entered the world of Egypt. Pharaoh pursued him, lured on by mad jealousy and unwillingness to surrender his hold over them. They were at the brink of capturing and crushing God as they poured after him into Hades. So that's the model of the, which we see prefigured in the Reed Sea. That's not the end of the story as we know, because now we've got to go into the desert and the revelation of God and extend the story.
