The Unexpected Conversation Between My Dad and Dewey

Dewey's words were slurred and the smell of booze was overpowering. Had he been any other person, I'm sure Dad would have thrown him out but he wasn't. He was a friend. Dewey went quiet and pulled a revolver from his jacket pocket. My eyes stayed glued on the gun. Then just like that, Dewey put the pistol back into his pocket. The two men shook hands and Dewey stumbled out of the office.
