The Attica Maximum Security Prison

The prison was built in the 19 thirties, and it was meant to accommodate 16 hundred inmates. The men were kept in their six by nine foot cells for 14 to 16 hours per day,. allowed only one shower a week. Their sheets were only changed once a month. And each inmate was only given a single roll of paper that had to last them the entire monthso obviously, living conditions are inhumane.
