The Ukrainian Military Is Taking Back Large Areas of Kharkiv
CNN's John Defterios says the Ukrainians are pushing their advantage and doing so effectively. The Ukrainian military was able to push through and essentially take back huge swaths of land that Russia had been taking over since about April timeframe, he says. But we're already seeing some pockets being developed by the counterattack in Karkiv which is a much more difficult fight for them than they expected. If the retreat is fully cut off and the Russians do or die it will be one of the largest single capture of POWs in modern history, Defterios adds.
