The Importance of Collective Action

Right-wingers understand the metaphor of the drained pool. They really get the main message of the book is about collective action. And they're just furious. They think that grownups who are trying to stop them from reading books are evil. The idea of banning books strikes most Americans as fundamentally un-American and suspect, right? So we've really got to make sure that we have the moral high ground about this.
