John DeLorean wanted to build the first ethical sports car, stainless steel. He and Bill Collins needed a designer who could take John's plans and make them look beautiful. Georgetto Giudaro had worked on designs for Lamborghini but he'd also worked with Volkswagen. In October of 1975, John officially founded the DeLorean Motor Company.
