Where to Hold U.S. Stocks That Pay Foreign Dividends?
Some people say that if a company is more about capital gains, by all means, put it in the court. But others will say that if the U.S. company does pay a dividend, then it should never be held within a corporation. So I'll throw an example out there, like Starbucks. I'm just trying to get a sense of, where should we be holding stocks like this? Like, is that more suitable for an RSP? Tim: Don't let the tax tail wag the investment dog.
