The Question of Freedom in Philosophy
In order to have philosophy speak to things in a universal sense, we must operate outside of the limiting or specific context of human. So what does it mean to talk of the negative liberty of two individuals? Or maybe not two individuals, but or maybe not one individual? The notion of individuality implies very fixed and concrete notions of boundary and tat also, in involves a notion of like, persistent self. And i would like to have a notion of freedom that survives and that flourishes even when humans, or post humans, or what have you, choose to relate to one another, or with themselves,. In all sorts of different ways that extend far beyond the conventional, normal, everyday human contacts
