I think liberal tradition does do something which is provide a way to shift someone's prejudices. But as we go through from the middle of the 20th century onwards, especially, what liberal anti-racism is not good at is tackling this kind of more structural problem of racism. The real core of racism is about this overall social arrangement, who owns the land and so on,. And as you get into a neoliberal era, this becomes crucial because what Neocons are very good at is being able to present a certain story about how we've moved on from prejudice.
