Scary movies are a great example of exploiting human physiological responses for simulated fear. The recorded upper limit of the range of sound is closer to 20,000 hertz. Lower frequencies between 10 to 15 hertz are associated with anxiety. When it premiered at the Ken Film Festival, 20 people fainted and needed medical attention.
