Imitation is the art of making yourself feel better by doing things that you don't need to do. So, when your partner says he doesn't like what you've done and wants you to finish it, are you being stubborn? Is this really a problem? I think there's something to be said for defiant defiance - even if we know it's not the right thing to do.
